Promoting healthy aging through the involvement of animals in every day life

Gulf Coast Pet Partners is an affiliate group of the Delta Society. This volunteer program was established in 2001 by Dr. Linda Buettner. GCPP serves the SW Florida coastal area and has therapy teams  from Naples to Tampa.

GCPP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Pet Partners Teams (handlers and their animals) have completed training and skills testing necessary for registration in the Delta Society Pet Partners Program. The registered teams are placed within the community when and where visits are requested. Through team activities and therapy visits GCPP strives to demonstrate the benefits animals can have on health and on the quality of life for individuals of all ages.
